Product Review: MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation in NC43

There’s nothing less attractive than a woman who looks like she’s wearing POUNDS of makeup, but the truth is, you can be wearing a ton and look like you’re wearing nothing. I’ve always loved foundations that look like skin, and more importantly, let my skin breath! But sometimes these foundations just don’t really make a difference! I have found over the years, my absolute favorite powder foundation MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation. This is a great product if you have an oily skin that breaks out.

My take on MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation:

 I always used to buy foundation that would just not suit me and ended up looking like i pounds of makeup, and that's when I walked into MAC store and asked the lady to try out foundation or powder on me. I did have my doubts about if the product is gonna make me have breakouts or will my skin end up looking shiny (P.S. I have acne and oily skin). And she tried MAC NC 43.5 on me and I was like O-M-Gee it gives a good coverage and also it doesn't look like I am wearing to much make up. Did I have to think too much to buy it? Not really infact this one is my second one and I have it in NC 43. What I really liked was it just gives a matte effect which is aaahhhhhMAZING.


MAC studio fix powder plus foundation comes in a classic black casing with a mirror and a sponge. Its travel friendly, you dont have to get worried about it opening in your pouch and creating mess.


Pros:

1. Good, solid coverage - covers up almost like your liquid foundation.
2. Matte finish.
3. Does not look cakey or like you are a make-up queen at all. Finding a powder with high coverage and not looking cakey is really difficult.
4. The puff that comes with it is also really good, blends the powder really well.

Cons:

None apart from the price.

Recommendation:

I love my MAC Studio Fix its an aaaahmazing product for oily skin people like me. It really gives a good coverage to all my breakouts and lasts really long. And the fact it gives a matte finish so the face doesnt look shiny.
