My View on Maybelline Colossal Kajal:

 Maybelline has revamped their best seller Colossal Kajal. The new Colossal Kajal Claims to be lasting 12 hours without smudging, while the old Colossal Kajal lasted only 6 hours without smudging.


I am not a fan of twister eye pencils, I love the regular ones that needs to be sharpened more. I know weird right. But I was running out of my kohl and had to repurchase one. I wanted something that wasn't too expensive so after comparing Lakme's Eyeconic Kajal and Colossal Kajal I made my choice. Yeah I was a bit biased to maybelline!

The new colossal kajal comes in the similar packaging as the previous. Yellow and black packaging, I like the cute packaging but i feel they could have done it better! May be I m asking for too much at that price. I actually cant compare the old and new one because I have not used the old.

Maybelline claims the new colossal kajal to be lasting for 12 hours without smudging, but this one does not stand true to this claim. However it lasts for good 7-8 hours without smudging or fading, after that it fades off. May be i need to blame my oily eyelids for that. This particular kajal isn't the blackest kajal that I haved used but I am very impressed with the pigmentation. What I really love about this kajal is that it did not irritate my eyes in any way even when i used it on my water line. Everything is really nice about this kajal except the applicator. I don't find it to be the most convenient one but however the kajal is quite creamy. You know the tip also kind of breaks.






Pros:

1. A very long lasting and smudge proof kajal.
2. Waterproof, needs makeup remover to take it off completely.
3.  Inexpensive and pretty good quality.
4. Safe on my waterline, does not irritate.
5. A cute, fun packaging!yellow and black combo is ultra cute.

Cons:

The kajal tends to break but that is okay!

Recommendation:

Maybelline Colossal Kajal is a very pigmented, long lasting, smudge proof and waterproof kajal. This a pretty good kajal and also very inexpensive.
