Revlon has launched new Eyeshadows which have for sure won a lot of hearts. I was intrigued to try these for two reasons. 1. Affordable price (Rs. 175 for 1.4g, which is quite rare nowadays) 2. You can build your own palette (no more annoying unnecessary colors in the palette). Anyhoo, I picked only 2 shades ~ Periwinkle and Khaki.
First the packaging, they come in cute rectangular case that can be linked together. These are perfect for travel, it gives you the liberty to customize the colors of your choice.

Periwinkle is a gorgeous periwinkle blue shade with teeny tiny silver micro shimmer. The color is quite unique and has a very spring touch to it. The shade will look good on most skin tones. While Khaki  is a  super beautiful shade its khaki green with teeny tiny gold shimmer. This color in my opinion is very classic. The kinda shade that will go well with any makeup. And the color will definitely look fabulous on any skin tone.

The formula just failed to impress me, the texture I felt was very powdery and wasn't really easy to blend. Applied quite unevenly on my bare eyelids but with a base underneath it applied quite okay. I found another downside about the eyeshadow is that these are not very pigmented. One swipe applies quite sheer however you can build them with 2-3 swipes. I applied this and went for a movie, and by the end of it this had faded away and looked streaky. FAIL! So without a primer max wear of this is would be 2-2.5 hours but again with base underneath I can drag this for 3-3.5 hours. As much as I love the color selection (They have whole lot of neutrals, pinks, purples, greens, blue and gold) The packaging and the shade selection only wins my heart.

I would rate this 2.75/5 :(
