Ahh! I know I'm here with a product that has been launched months back but somehow I had made up my mind not to buy it. I still did not buy it, I got it as a gift. Yay!

The Revlon Matte Balm come in 10 shades, obviously all matte and have a good color choice. These are priced at Rs. 800. The shade that I own is Unapologetic.

Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm comes in a lip crayon form. The packaging is coordinated with the shade and finish of the balm. Which makes it quite easy to locate. These have the twist-up and down mechanism, which means no product wastage. The texture  of these are really soft and makes the application kind of a pain, it kind of slips so one needs to be real careful. Anhoo.. as the name suggests, the finish is matte but not the super drying types. These are quite hydrating, however exfoliating your lips will only make it look better. These are richly pigmented, one swipe and it goes opaque however it does not apply evenly. Sigh! The staying power is for 4-5 hours after which it leaves a nice stain that needs to be taken off using a makeup remover.

The shade, unapologetic is a reddish pink with hints of coral. This shade instantly brightens up the face. The color is very bright and perfect for night outs! The shade will flatter light-medium skin tones. These have a strong peppermint scent which is bothersome and also this gives a tingling feeling on the lips but thats for a few seconds only.

Overall, I am not very impressed by these. I wish these weren't this soft and also the application should have been even! And the price... Dude! too much for a drugstore.

I would rate this 3/5.

XOXO
