Dior's newest launch is the Rouge Dior Baume - a nourishing lip balm with couture color that leaves lips with healthy glow and shine. They come in 19 shades and are priced at $35. Well these as usual have not been launched in India yet. Sigh! The shade I have is Nuit Rose 988.

The packaging of Rouge Dior Baume is classy in all navy glossy case and has CD engraved on the top and a tiny silver ring in the middle. It also has CD etched on the bullet but it's not gonna last. Also like most Dior lipsticks this one too has a soft rosy scent.

The texture of the lipstick is soft, smooth and balm-y (in a good way). The Rouge Dior Baume glides on so well on the lips, and is so easy to apply does not slip of bleed! These are quite hydrating and do not settle on fine lines. The pigmentation is medium, one swipe and you get a sheer wash of color but with 2-3 swipes it gives better color pay off. The finish is quite lightweight and glossy and lasts for a good 3 hours before it begins to fade.

The shade Nuit Rose is a lovely maroon-ish red with a bit of brown and looks pretty good on medium skin tone. The shade is perfect for the season and I am kind of obsessed with it. What I like is that it has no shimmer and is very comfortable to wear.

Overall, I am quite impressed with the formula and finish. This has become my favourite quite soon. If you are someone who like sheer lipsticks, then I strongly recommend you to give this a try.

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine (91) Boheme When I tried Chanel ,I knew for sure I was gonna get addicted to them. I was in Bangalore for almost a month and almost every week I went to the chanel counter and tried makeup on and I fell heads over heels in love with the Rouge Coco Shine  lipsticks. The thing with these are a few are super pigmented and some are very sheer. I kinda liked both the offerings.
